Read on to learn more about scheduled delivery, the ease of using it, and ideas for making the most of it.
Scheduled Delivery Defined
Scheduled delivery is exactly as it sounds: purchasing your virtual gift card and scheduling delivery for a future date. This allows you to plan in advance and time your gifting appropriately for holidays or other special events, adding to the convenience of shopping for gift cards. Schedule Up to Six Months from Date of Order
You can schedule gift card delivery up to six months in advance—allowing you to check off gifts for all the upcoming events on your calendar.
Order Multiple Gifts with Ease
Planning to send gifts to a large group? You can schedule delivery of the same card design to up to 100 recipients. It’s a great way to manage large-scale gifting, whether for community events or holiday gifting for a list of teachers or neighbors.
You Can Use Promo Codes Easily
You can use current promo codes when placing your order, making days with special offers a great time to place orders.
Some Orders Do Not Qualify for Scheduled Delivery:
Physical Gift Cards: While you cannot use scheduled delivery for physical gift cards, consider pre-ordering plastic gift cards to have available when you want to hand-deliver a gift.
Mixed Orders, such as:
- Physical Cards with Scheduled eGift Cards
- Non-Scheduled eGift Cards with Scheduled eGift Cards
- Multiple eGift Cards Scheduled for Different Dates (Please note: Once a scheduled delivery digital gift card is added to the cart, it is the only product that can be purchased in that order.)
While you cannot mix the above orders, instead consider combining non-scheduled gift cards in one order, and simply place individual orders for scheduled delivery eGift cards of different designs or send dates.
How to Schedule an eGift Card Delivery
Step 1
Search and find the digital gift card of choice, complete the required information on the page (Card Value, Recipient Email, Quantity).
Step 2
In the field titled “Send Date,” enter your preferred date of delivery. Note: The scheduler will default to send now if no date is selected.
Step 3
Select “Add to Cart” and your order will be reflected in the cart pop-out with your scheduled send date.
Step 4
Once you have made your card selections, proceed to checkout to review your order information and delivery date you have entered.
Step 5
Complete the information on the Payment screen and select “Place Order.”
Step 6
You will receive an email confirming your order has been received and will be delivered on the eGift Send Date you have chosen.
You can also view your order details on the Track Order page. There, you can track your order status, see your scheduled delivery date, and reorder additional gift cards.
